"Bought it refurbished and was kind of leery. Never ordered like that before. I find that the screen protector is kind of thick and sometimes I have to tap the screen several times to type a letter or number. I'm sure this has nothing to do with it being certified refurbished but was kind of aggravating at first but I don't notice it now. I love the color and have dropped it several times over the months and no issues."

This is an excellent phone protector, the iPhone it protects has been dropped with no damage. Highly recommend OtterBox to anyone with an iPhone.

This is one I chose because I am a lover of pink! It does a fine job protecting my phone and is not slick so not dropping it so often and when it does hit the ground I have confidence it will still be a working phone. Good choice. Great item and the price was right.

The OtterBox is great if you can find it for a deal. Marshall's and TJ Maxx sometimes carry the less popular colors. It does get dirty and dusty, so you will have to pull it off occasionally to clean it and your phone. The only problem with that is, the rubber stretches and it doesn't fit quite as snugly on your phone afterwards. This just gets worse and worse, as the stretching allows more dust into the box and then you have to pull it off more frequently - it's a vicious cycle. In the end, you'll end up replacing the case. It lasts about a year.

However, it does do a great job of protecting the phone. My boyfriend is a mechanic and drops his phone all the time on concrete and other hard surfaces, and the phone is still in perfect condition. Additionally, it has a protective screen so it keeps the screen clean and clear from grease, dust, and scratches.

Only thing with this is if you have tge iphone 5S don't get one. I got the 5S because of the fingerprint scan, now with this case you can't use the scan you would have to put in your passcode. Besides that it's a great case little bulky but hey it's OTTERBOX

Nice phone cover and great price. This really protects the phone from kids and accidents. Well worth the money and cost was great.

This otterbox case is great, it's saved my husband's brand new iphone 5 from being destroyed while he was on a training exercise in the Army. I'm so happy with it that I'm considering super gluing his phone to the case just so he can't take it off (that's how he shattered his last iphone). Thanks otterbox!

This item is okay because it does fall apart a little bit on the back afterwhile keys rub against it it makes marks it's kind of falls apart after a while in the cracks on the side all the dirt gets in there and you can never get else the back little window on the side dirt gets in there instead is in there and you're never going to be able to get out great price though I would recommend but after a while it does get dirty if you don't mind your case getting dirty I would recommend this case but like I said this case is fantastic if you want to cracky back screen also when I have this case on my iPhone 5s cracked the back little panel in the back of the phone there must've been a rock stuck in between it and got hit hard I dropped it and the back little panel cracked but luckily I had AppleCare

This case differs from the "newer Iphone 5s case ONLY in that this case covers the home button and maintains the full seal of the excellent and very sensitive screen protector. The "newer Iphone 5s Defender case" has to cut out a exposed hole around the lower home button to allow for "finger print recognition" and since the screen protector sits a mm above the screen, you'll get lots of dust underneath.

This was a replacement case because my old one got dirty and discolored after less than a year. The case is still in great shape and I recommend the Defender series to everyone. it has been dropped off shopping carts before and no damage to the iPhone. I just wish I could have bought only a replacement outer cover instead of the entire mechanism, since the interior had nothing wrong with it. Instead of a light color this time, I ordered the dark grey to avoid the discoloration.

The case fits as it said it would. It was returned under warranty and was replaced without any issues. I have purchased other OtterBox products as a result of this purchase.

It absolutely protects the phone. If you never drop your phone, you don't need one. If you're like the rest of us, sooner or later it gets dropped. The Otter Box Defender will definitely protect it. It is bulky but worth it.

The inside of the front screen requires cleaning periodically so the cover must be disassembled, but it is easy and only takes a few minutes. Bought this for my son's iphone four months ago. Last night he came home panicked, worried he dropped it in the driveway at a moving location, but located it with gps. To his shock it had, indeed, been RUN OVER by the moving truck, but survived! It is probably not waterproof anymore, as the clear cover separated from the box in one spot, but praise God the iphone is unharmed. Totally sold on OtterBox :)

Great case - especially for an Otterbox. My husband has had it for 1 yr and it is still on his iphone. He works in construction so there is a lot of dust in the air and everywhere. This case does a good job at keeping the phone in good condition.
